Oracle released Siebel CRM 26.10 under Continuous Delivery, with the What’s New and updated guides published this week.
What’s new in 26.10
Siebel Configurator: API-Driven UI Property Management. UI properties for configurable products can now be centrally managed and published through design-time APIs, so product catalogs such as Oracle Launch can automatically consume and display the latest properties. Oracle updated the integration components in the SWIProductIntegrationIO integration object, documented in the Siebel REST API Guide under “Using Siebel REST API For Siebel Product Administration.”
The Siebel Installation Guide for 26.10 also revises the Open Integration logging configuration topic.
Open UI heads-up
The Siebel Hub (Oct 31) reports that 26.10 replaces jQuery 3 with jQuery 4 and moves to Oracle JET 21, and recommends checking custom Open UI code with jQuery Migrate. This isn’t yet spelled out in Oracle’s public What’s New, so treat it as a regression-test item for custom physical renderers and presentation models before uptake.
Also: Siebel Monitoring & Diagnostic Console
Oracle’s Siebel blog (Oct 21) introduced the Siebel Monitoring & Diagnostic Console (SMDC), a by-request sample application through My Oracle Support with prebuilt Grafana dashboards. It supports Siebel 21.2 and later on Linux-based Siebel Servers and deploys through Siebel Cloud Manager.
