Oracle’s Siebel team will introduce the Siebel Monitoring and Diagnostic Console (SMDC), which brings server monitoring and application insights together in one place for Siebel operators. The live demo covers prebuilt health dashboards, spotting issues faster, getting started with the SMDC Sample Application, and the deployment journey and what’s planned next. The session was first listed for Oct 15 and has been rescheduled to Oct 22.

Oct 18, 2026: Siebel October 2026 CPU Pre-Release — 123 Security Patches

Oracle published the pre-release announcement for the October 2026 Critical Patch Update on Thursday, October 15. The full CPU ships Tuesday, October 20, 2026, and it includes a large Siebel CRM batch.

October 2026 CPU — Siebel CRM

• 123 new security patches for Oracle Siebel CRM.

• 67 of them may be remotely exploitable without authentication.

• Highest CVSS v3.1 base score: 9.9.

• Affected: Siebel Applications versions 17.0 through 26.9.

• Also in scope: Oracle Enterprise Manager for Siebel, versions 13.5 and 24.1.

Pre-release details can change before the final advisory on October 20. Siebel teams should line up a non-production test window this week and plan production patching soon after the advisory is final.

Also new: OpenSearch 3.2 support for Siebel Intelligent Search

Oracle's Siebel product blog (October 6) confirmed OpenSearch 3.2.0 support for Siebel Intelligent Search with Siebel CRM 26.9 and later. OpenSearch 2.15.0 remains supported from 25.10, so existing deployments don't have to move right away. Updated OpenSearch auto-install scripts are available as patch 39116180 through a Service Request to Siebel Support. The OpenSearch version in modernsearchconfig.yaml must exactly match the installed version.

Oct 4, 2026: Siebel CRM 26.9 — Resume Updates and TMF Open API

Oracle released Siebel CRM 26.9 under Continuous Delivery. The update was GA on September 24, 2026; the official product blog posted on September 29, 2026.

What’s new in 26.9

Resume Capability for Monthly Update Utilities

PostInstallDBSetup and RepositoryUpdate can continue from the last successfully completed logical step after an interruption or failure, instead of restarting from the beginning. That shortens recovery time and maintenance windows when an update is interrupted.

Siebel Communications — TMF Open API Integration

Siebel Communications now supports TM Forum Open API-based integrations for Order-to-Bill and agent-assisted billing care. The framework connects Siebel CRM with Oracle Communications OSM and BRM using TMF 622 (Product Ordering Management) and TMF 666 (Account Management), replacing the prior AIA-based integration path while preserving existing business capabilities. A RepositoryUpdate is required for this feature.
